Traumatic Brain Injury and Stroke:
Healing Injuries and Improving Respiratory Health
Our program for adults with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and stroke was developed in 2006 at and for the Schurig Center for Brain Injury Recovery. Thanks to the support of their founder, Karen Schurig, we conducted research together with Brigham and Women’s Hospital Harvard that proved we can increase respiratory strength and dramatically improve sense of well being with our unique approach.
This class is part of an offering from the SMC Educational Foundation, which provides holistic support for targeted populations, including veterans, youth, and stroke and brain injury survivors. The Foundation is funded through community donations so we can provide financial support for those who cannot afford our services.
Foundation classes are available on a sliding scale basis. We suggest $20 per class, but everyone is welcome and we are grateful for donations of any size. Please donate using this link and include the name of the class in the memo field: www.smcmarin.com/edu-foundation. Thank you!
This class has a unique Zoom link every week. To get the link, please fill out the reservation form below.
